Browns Valley June 17 - Delilah J. Todd, highly respected resident of this vicinity, died at her home here yesterday afternoon after an illness of 3 weeks. She was born Dec 27, 1846 in Shelby County, Kentucky, the daughter of Elijah and Emily Todd Maddox. She was married Jan 30, 1868 to Isaac Shelby Todd who died (20th) in March 1921. The deceased resided in this vicinity all her married life and was a member of Browns Valley Baptist Church. She is survived by a half sister, Mrs. Emma Stewart of Shelbyville, KY; a foster son, W.T. Todd of Crawfordsville; four great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Baptist Church in charge of Rev. Mr. Hamilton of Indianapolis. Burial will be made at Indian Creek Cemetery. kbz
