Mabel E. Toby, 80, of 130 Brenda Avenue died at 7 a.m. Sunday in her home. Mrs. Toby was a housewife. She was educated in the Montgomery County schools. Born July 31, 1903, she was a daughter of Candy and Fannie ELlen Titus Lewellen. She married George Toby in 1923. He died in 1965. Surviving are a son, Lewis J; two daughters, Mrs. James (Mary Lou) Martin and Mrs. Lowell (Irene) Terry; 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. 3 brothers and 2 sisters are deceased. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Powers Funeral Home here with Rev. James Ranard officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
