Funeral services for Thomas Edward Tobin, 84, well known Putnam County farmer who died at his home near Roachdale Wednesday have been set for 9 o’clock Saturday morning at Crawfordsville. Mr. Tobin was born March 24, 1851 in Lockport, NY and was married to Catherine Broderick of Crawfordsville Oct 27, 1881. Surviving in addition to the widow are a daughter, Mrs. MJ Murphy of this city; a son, Fred Tobin who lives on the farm of his parents and a sister, Mrs. August M. Karle of Crawfordsville. Father Thomas McGrath of St. Paul’s Church of this city will be in charge of the funeral services which will be conducted from the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church at Crawfordsville. – kbz
