Titus - Nat

The grand jury, in session at Lebanon, returned an indictment against Oscar Proctor, who recently killed Nat C. Titus. The indictment charges Proctor with manslaughter. It will be recalled that Proctor struck Titus with a rock his death following a few hours later. Proctor was arraigned in the circuit court Tuesday morning. He entered a plea of not guilty. His case was set for hearing Sept 23. - kbz
