Titus - Julia Hole

Mrs. Julia Hole Titus, age 77, passed away Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock at her home five miles southwest of Crawfordsville after a few years illness, the result of a paralytic stroke which she suffered three and a half years ago. Mrs. Titus was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Clark Hole. SHe was born in Illinois and came to Indiana with her parents when she was quite small. Most of her life has been passed in Montgomery County. She was united in marriage to A.J. (Adam Jasper) Titus on November 9, 1873, and to this union 8 children were born, two of whom preceded her in death several years ago. The deceased is survived by her husband and six children, Guy, Ernest, Mrs. Theodore Johnson and Harold, all of this city, Mrs. WB Garrigus of Indianapolis and Ruth at home, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. - kbz

Mrs. Jasper Titus, who has been ill for 4 years following a parlytic stroke died on Monday two miles north of New market. She was the mother of Mrs. Theodore Johnson, Mrs. Estella Garrigus, Guy and Harold Titus who are all well known here. Funeral services were held at the home of Theodore Johnson in Crawfordsville on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Banta and Mrs. CH Johnson attended. - kbz
