Howard Titus died at the residence of his father, Nobe Titus, 1/2 Mi So. of here, Tues. morning at 2 o'clock. His sickness was of long duration and he suffered much. An autopsy was held Tues. afternoon. 7 doctors were in attendance: Drs. Dennis and Brown of Alamo; Hamilton of Waynetown; Williamson of Wallace; Engleman of Yountsville and Peterson of Wingate. The body was found to be in a strange condition with the liver and spleen weighing 17 pounds. The funeral was preached by Rev. Higgins after which the remains were laid to rest in Alamo Cemetery - kbz

Howard Titus, of Alamo, died Monday night at 10 o’clock of dropsy. He had been an invalid for over two years. He was 38 years old and single, being a son of J. N. Titus. The funeral occurred Wednesday at 10 o’clock conducted by Rev. Higgins, of Thorntown. =s
