Titus - Frank

Frank TITUS was born on a farm East of Alamo, Montgomery County, Indiana Dec 25, 1857 and entered that fuller life on July 9 and would have attained full 82 years if he had lived until Dec 25. All of his long life has been spent on the farm in Fountain, Parke & Montgomery Counties. When very young he went to live with Jessie and Catherine Titus where he stayed until growth, but for the past 50 years or more he made his home with the AJ Titus family and became one of them. At the death of Mr. AJ Titus in 1930 he continued to make his home with Miss Ruth, youngest daughter of AJ Titus who gave him a good home and cared for him until the day of his death. On November 30, 1897 he was married to Iola L. LEMMONS of Covington, who only lived about 10 months. He united with the Christian Church at Covington many years ago. Mr. Titus was a man who lived justice and truth always maintained a high standard of morals which accounts for his long and useful life. He leaves one brother, SE Titus of Russellville; Mrs. Nora TIMMINS (sic) of Veedersburg, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins who together with neighbors and friends will remember the life he lived. Funeral services at the home on Tuesday the old Hallett Place at Bluff Mills, were in charge of Rev LR Hartling with burial at Covington
