Della M. Titus, 87, of 210 W. Main St, died at 5:57 p.m. Wednesday in Culver Hospital. She had been a patient there two weeks. She attended Hillsboro schools and was a 63-member of First Christian Church of Crawfordsville where she was active in the Missions circles.
Mrs. Titus was born March 29, 1896, a daughter of William and Emma Beck Tyler. She married Forest A. Titus on April 7, 1912 at Waynetown. He preceded her in death in April of 1965.
Survivors include a nephew, the Rev. Donald Tyler of Brownsburg; an aunt, Mrs. Virgil Wilkinson of Waynetown; a great nephew, Mike Mahorney of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla; and a great niece, Mrs. Ann Smith of Pascagola, Miss.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jewel, a brother and a sister. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Burkhart Funeral Home with Revs. Al Johnson and Donald Tyler officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
