Mrs. Catharine Titus died May 13, 1897, aged 83 years, five months an
d 18 days. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church, of which she was a member, the pastor, Rev. Brown, officiating. Interment was in the Stonebraker Cemetery. She was sick quite a while, her disease being dropsy of the heart. Four children survive her, two sons and two daughters, and two children had preceded her, a son and a daughter. -s
