Brownsburg – Eldra E. Titus, 84 of Brownsburg, formerly of Crawfordsville died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Autumn Care Nursing Home at Brownsburg. Mrs. Titus was a homemaker and owned L. Dora’s Candy Store in Crawfordsville for five years. She also worked for many years at Titus Electric Co her husband’s business.. She was a member of the Smartsburg Ladies Aid and Smartsburg Home Ec Club. She was also a member of the Athens Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star,. She was a 1924 graduate of Alamo HS. She was born Jan 26, 1906 to William E. and Effie Parkinson Weir. She married Garold Titus July 3, 1924 at Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death in 1964. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clark (Phyllis) Wilson of Brownsburg; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Watkins of Speedway; five grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Powers Funeral Home with the Revs. Denis Dodson and Greg Blakley-Lombard officiating. –-- kbz
