Timmons - son of Joshua

A son of Joshua Timmons, living near Montmorency, was drowned last Saturday afternoon while bathing in the Wabash near Granville, seven miles below the city. After a hard day’s work he went to the river with some companions, and getting beyond his depth, was drowned, being unable to swim. The body was found Sunday evening about two miles below where the accident occurred. Deceased was twenty one years of age and was loved and respected by all who knew him.—Lafayette Journal
