Timmons - Jasper

Veedersburg, April 24 - Jasper D. Timmons, 74, lifelong resident of this county, died at his home here Tuesday night at 10 o'clock as the result of a stroke of paralysis suffered two months ago. He had been in declining health for several years. Mr. Timmons, who for many years was a poultry buyer in Veedersburg was born in Davis Township, Fountain County on Feb 28, 1861. He was the son of Levi and kaziah Timmons. THe survivors include the wife, Mrs. Jennie Timmons; five daughters, Mrs. Lulu Campbell of Veedersburg; Mrs. Nellie Remster of Hillsboro; Mrs. Laura Paramore of Tawan, Utah; Mrs. Helen Moore of Waynetown and Miss Frances Timmons of Veedersburg; four sons, Carl Timmons, of Phoenix, AZ; Charles Timmons of Tawn, Utah; Archie Timmons of Sacarmento, Calif; and Harry Timmons of San Diego, Calif; and 11 grandchildren. The funeral arrangements have not been made pending word from the children in the west.
