Veedersburg, June 21 - Ezekiel Timmons, 73, lifelong resident of Fountain County died Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at his home in Veedersburg.  He had been in ill health for the past year, seriously ill since ay 1.  Born March 18, 1875 near Covington, he was the son of Perry and Lorinda Martin Timmons. He married Nora Titus, Nov 3, 1897. She preceded him in death Oct 10, 1947.  He had worked as fireman at the Veedersburg Brick Company in his later years farming during his early part of his life. Surviving are a daughter, Fern Dollinger (sic) of Kingman; a son Troy at home; a sister, Mrs. Emma Lucas of Covington and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock CDT from Fishero Funeral Home.  Rev. Carl Barnett of Providence will be in charge and burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz

Ezekiel Timmons, a life long county resident, and a resident of Veedersburg most of his life, died Monday afternoon at his home.  Mr. Timmons had been in failing health for a year and had been in serious condition for over a month.

He was employed at the Veedersburg Brick Company for many years before his retirement.  His early years were spent in farming.

He was born March 18, 1875 near Covington, the son of Perry and Lorinda Martin Timmons.  In 1897 he was married to Nora Titus,  who preceded him in death last October.  Surviving are two children, Mrs. Fern Drollinger of Kingman, a son, Tony, at home and a sister, Mrs. Emma Lucas of Covington and three grandchildren.  Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at Fishero Funeral Home with burial at the Masonic Cemetery at Newtown   --- transcribed by kbz - furnished by Betty D

Veedersburg—Ezekial Timmons, 73, life resident of Fountain County, died at his home in Veedersburg Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock. In failing health the past six months, he had been seriously ill since May.

 Born March 18, 1875 near Covington, he was the son of Perry and Lurinda Martin Timmons.

 On Nov. 3, 1897, he was married to Nora Titus. She preceded him in death on October 10, 1947.

 During his early life he was engaged in farming but in recent years had been employed as a fireman at the Veedersburg Brick Company.

 Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Fern Drollinger of Kingman, one son, Troy, at home, one sister, Mrs. Emma Lucas of Covington and three grandchildren.    The Fishero Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. – thanks to S&E
