Timmons - Anna Book - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Mrs. Jesse W. Timmons died at her country home southwest of New Richmond at one o’clock Friday morning, after an illness of a year from cancer of the stomach. Aged 55 years. The family was formerly residents of Oxford and Pine Village and moved to their farm here about a year ago, but during her short residence in our community had endeared herself to many new friends. She is survived by the husband, three sons and one daughter Chris M. Timmons of Sterling, Ill., Lydia, Lynn and Harold Timmons, at home.  A short funeral service was held at the home at 9 o’clock Sunday morning following which the funeral procession went to Pine Village where the funeral service proper was observed in the M. E. church at 1:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. 0. P. Paxton of Stockwell. The interment was made in the cemetery at Pine Village.
