Mrs. Elizabeth D. Tiffany died Saturday evening at the residence of her brother-in-law, Bennett Engle, with whom she has made her home for several years. Mrs. Tiffany was a most agreeable old lady and has been a resident of the county for many years. She was over 70 years old and death was due to a general decline. The funeral services were conducted this afternoon by Rev. HA Tucker and were largely attended. The interment occurred at Oak Hill.

Mrs. E. D. Tiffany died last Saturday evening of general debility at the residence of Bennett Engle on East Main Street where she had made her home for some time. The funeral occurred this afternoon at 1 o’clock with the interment at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Tiffany was during her long and useful life of almost 80 years, a devout and sincere Christian.  Her work in the world was a noble and good one and her memory will live in the lives she has blessed.
