Threlkeld - Dorothy Sharp

Mrs. Dorothy Evelyn Threlkeld, age 20 years, passed away this morning at 4:15 o'clock at the Culver hospital in Crawfordsville. Her death was caused by uremic poisoning which followed the birth of a son on Tuesday morning at eight o'clock. Mrs. Threlkeld was born in Boone county, a daughter of Millard and Jessie (Ray) Sharp. Most of her life was spent in Boone county and she was a member of the Christian church at Dover. She was married in Boone county on December 23, 1939, to Roy Eugene Threlkeld, who survives. Survivors are the father, Millard Sharp; the husband, Roy Eugene Threlkeld; the infant son; a brother, Fred Sharp of Franklin, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Beck of Lebanon. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at one o'clock At the Dover Christian Church with the Rev. Ora McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Dover cemetery. The body was brought to the Bratton Brothers funeral home this morning and returned this afternoon to the residence two miles north of Darlington on the Roy Adney farm, where friends may call.
