Darlington -- John TRIMBLE, 82, a farmer in this County for many years died at his home six miles SE of here Friday night at 9:30 o´clock. Death was due to cancer and followed a serious illness of 5 weeks. The deceased was born in Knox Co KY Oct 18, 1849. He moved to this County at an early age and was married to Charity Caster March 1, 1876. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He had been a farmer all his life. The survivors include the widow, Mrs. Charity Trimble, a daughter, Mrs. Mary Hopkins of SE of Darlington; a son, roy Trimble; a daughter-in-law, Mary of Mace; 7 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. The funeral services will be held at Darlington Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 2 in charge of Rev EM Kuonen. Burial in IOOF [Independent Order of Odd Fellows] Cemetery.
