Hardy D. TRICKEY lays his armor down. Word was received here Saturday that Mr. Trickey who served as pastor of the Waveland Presbyterian Church a number of months until compelled to retire after a heart attack last August and died at his home in Winchester, Illinois Thursday. In his early years, Mr. Trickey was an attorney but relinquished that profession to preach the gospel, serving various churches in Illinois before coming to Indiana where he served Rockfield, Remington and Waveland. Mr. Trickey was a man of highest quality and was an esteemed friend of the Independent family. The wife, two sons and a daughter survive. Burial was made Sunday afternoon at Winchester. - transcribed by kbz
