Townsend - Noah

Noah U. Townsend, 67, who came to Crawfordsville five years
ago to operate the gasoline filling station at the intersection
of state roads 43 and 47 on the South Boulevard, died at 10:40
o'clock Wednesday morning at Culver Hospital. Mr. Townsend
became a hospital patient two weeks ago, suffering from a heart
ailment. He had been troubled with heart complications for two
years. Mr. Townsend was born at Elwood, March 11, 1878. The
body was taken to Proffitt and Sons funeral home where friends
may call to pay their respects. Funeral arrangements are
incomplete Wednesday.
