Ladoga -- Walter R. Todd, 70, 314 N. Sycamore St, Ladoga died Saturday evening in Hendricks co Hospital at Danville, Ind. Mr. Todd was a retired railway employee and aluminum plant employee. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Romney. Born Feb 25, 1906, he was the son of Thomas and Ada H. Elkins Todd. He was married to Marguerite Rusk Feb 20, 1928. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Robert Lee of Lafayette and Max and Melvin of Ladoga; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Jean Miller and Mrs. Mildred Ann Walls of Ladoga, three brothers, Onis and Homer of Ladoga and Harry Lee of Lakeland, Fla; a sister, Mildred Ellison of Stockwell; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. Todd was preceded in death by a brother, Ray. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Perks Funearl Home at Ladoga. The Rev. Dan Chambers will officiate. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery.
