Charles H. TINSLEY, 68, prominent Hillsboro resident died suddenly at his home here at 8 o´clock this evening following a heart attack. Mr. Tinsley complained of feeling ill about 4:30 this afternoon and a physician was summoned. His condition however was not thought serious. Shortly before 8 o´clock he told his sister, Mrs. Stella Stout who has been living with him since the death of his wife three months ago that he was retiring for the night. A motion in his room and entering the room she found him lying on the floor dead. The deceased was born Sept 10, 1884, in Hillsboro, the son of James and Sally Hetfield Tinsley. He was married to Delia Glover who died following an injury received in a fall 3 months ago. He was at one time engaged in the hardware business here for 5 years, later moving to Covington where he continued in the same business for 9 more years. He later became a traveling salesman and lived successively in Detroit and Indianapolis. He had lived here, retired for the past 6 years. He was a member of the Hillsboro Masonic & Knights of Pythias Lodges and of the Order of Eastern Star. He was also a member of the local Christian Church. Besides the sister, Mrs. Stout, the only survivor is a half brother, Glen Tinsley of Denver, Colorado. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
