Miss Ruie Thompson, 78, former resident of Waynetown died at 10:40 p.m. Thursday in Westbrook Nursing Home where she had been a patient for about five months. Born June 28, 1886, in Waynetown, Miss Thompson was the daughter of William Francis and Matilda Thompson. She had been reared on the family farm east of Waynetown. Miss Thompson was a member of Waynetown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by three sisters. Survivors include five cousins, Ray D. Thompson and John Kline of Waynetown; Mrs. Ruth Rosen and Mr. Georgia Lowe of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Florence Murphy of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bright Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. Rev. Myron E. Hinton, pastor of the Waynetown Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Waynetown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
