Kingman - Randall E. Thompson, 72 of Rt 1, Bloomingdale, a member of the Parke County Plan Commission and former chairman of the Parke County Farm Bureau was fatally stricken in his home Wednesday. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Thompson was past director of Parke County Coop. He had been a member of Wallace Masonic Lodge, Wallace Low 12, Kingman OES, York Rite at Crawfordsville and and Kingman United Methodist Church. He was born in Indiana June 29, 1903, a son of Clay and Florence Ewbank Thompson. He was married to Leoma Bowman Dec 19, 1925. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Jo Nell) Barnhart of Indianapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Alyffe Nickel and Mrs. Shirley Martin of Marshall and Mrs. Kathaleen Kirtley of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren. A brother and sister preceded him in death. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Woodrow Funeral Home here with Rev. Luther Page officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. --kbz
