Thompson - Nancy

Mrs. Nancy Thompson, died at the residence of her son, J.W.P. Thompson, on last Thursday, August 4, of old age and dropsy. She was born in Pennsylvania on October 10, 1800, and was therefore almost 87 years of age at her death. She was the widow of Nehemiah Thompson, who died in 1882. She had five children. Her funeral, in answer to her request, was preached at Whitesville by Eld. M.M. Vancleave. It occurred last Saturday. Interment at Findly Chapel cemetery. Mrs. Thompson was a fond mother and a true christian woman who will be sincerely mourned by many old friends. – thanks to Kim H
