Rockville - Lyman Thompson, 81, resident of 607 12 S. Market St here died at 6:15 a.m. Thursday at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Born Dec 30, 1884 in Parke County, he was a son of John T. and Mary Jane Thompson. A retired farmer, Mr. Thompson was a former resideent of Hollandsburg. He was a member of Portland Mills Christian Church. Surviving are the widow, Dottie; three daughters, Mrs. Robert E. Martin of Rockville; Mrs. Roger Schutt of Indianapolis and Mrs. Max Martin of Rt 3, Rockville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Glenn Catterson of Rockville; a son, John Thompson of Indianapolis; two brothers, Omer of Rt 1 Rockville and Arthur of Indianapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Baine and Mrs. Lenna Connelley both of Bellmore and Mrs. Ora McGaughey of near Russellville; 10 grandchildlren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 pm. Saturday here at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. David Kinnick officiating. Friends may pay respects at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today. kbz
