New Ross-- Lucy Catherine Thompson, 84, of New Ross, died Sunday in St. Vincent Hospital at Indianapolis. She was a member of the New Ross Christian Church and the American Legion Auxilary. She was retired from Wasson's in Indianapolis. She was born June 25, 1894, in Coatsville, a daughter of Fred and Catherine (Stephenson) Stewart. She attended Hendricks County Schools. She married Harold D. Thompson May 13, 1919, in Crawfordsville. He survives. Surviving besides her husband ar three children, H. Fred Thompson, at home; Betty Marine of San Pedro, Calif., and Virginia Whittington, Crawfordsville; a sister, Elizabeth Stewart of New Ross; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services are Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown. Burial will be in New Ross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. - kbz
