Leo K. Thompson, 91 (Nov 9, 1901 - Sept 10, 1993) of 103 N. Davis St died at noon Friday in Culver Union Hospital. A farmer, Mr. Thompson worked for the Farm Bureau Coop. He was a 50-year member of the FIrst Christian Church, a past master of Alamo Masonic Lodge 144, a charter member of Crawfordsville Sportsman's Club and member of Wallace Low 12 CLub. He attended New Market schools.
He was born Nov 9, 1901 at New Market to Arley and Eva Layne Thompson. He married Iva Luzader Nov 11, 1919. She preceded him in death on Sept 15, 1943. He then married Mary Chambers June 13, 1944. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Russell G. of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Joan Paligraf of Daytona Beach, Fla; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ernest, three brothers, a grandson and a great grandson.
The funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Revs. Frank Everett & Glenn Brigman officiatnig. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 pm. Monday at the funeral home. - kbz
