June VanCleave THOMPSON, daughter of John and Nancy VanCleave and wife of Clarence E. Thompson died at the Thompson Home, 805 W. Market Street, Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock following a period of suffering from tuberculosis beginning in September 1918. Mrs. Thompson was born 4 miles south of the city June 13, 1890. She was a life long member of Trinity M. E. Church. Her suvivors are her husband, one son, Ralph, mother, two sisters, Bertha and Mary and one brother, Floyd VanCleave. The funeral will be held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 and interment will be made at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Yountsville -- Several from this community attended the funeral of June VanCleave Thompson at Crawfordsville Tuesday. June had lived in this community for 3 years. During her sickness she was brave and always had a smile and cheery word for those who knew her. To know her was to love her. She is survived by her husband, one son, Ralph who is yet too young to realize that his mother is sleeping the sleep that knows no awakening. Her mother, two sisters, Bertha and Mary and one brother, Floyd. The community united in extending their sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives.
