Thompson - Ira
Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal Thursday, 27 November 1873
The family of F. M. Thompson was made to mourn over the loss of two of its dear members last week, a mother and a son. Ira was called first. After an illness of six weeks, death ended his mortal existence, on Monday, the 18th inst., in the 19th year of his age. His disease was the result of typhus fever. And in about four weeks later his mother took sick with the same disease and went to meet her son, Ira, on Thursday, the 20th. Owing to the helpless condition of Mr. Thompson, there was no funeral preached but will be when he gets able to be about.
