Waynetown, August 20 -- Mrs. Dan Thompson, after a long illness from cancer of the stomach died at her home Sunday evening. She was born in Montgomery County June 24, 1849 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Taylor. She was a member of the Baptist Church here. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Charles Ellis, living in this city and Mrs. Clarence Murphy of Indianapolis; one brother, Robert living here; and two sisters, Mrs. William Thompson and Mrs. Irwin Parker, both living in this city. Funeral services will be held from the residence Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. PO Duncan officiating. Interment will take place at the local cemetery. - kbz
