Mrs. Bessie Thompson, 86, of 68 Lori Lee Drive died in Home Hospital at 1:20 a.m. today. She had been hospitalized two weeks. Born in Waveland she had been a resident of Lafayette since 1910. In 1910 she was married in Rockville to Lawrence O. Thompson who died in 1965. He was a coach carpenter for the Monon railroad. Mrs. Thompson was a past noble grand of Triumph Rebekah Lodge and a member of Order of Eastern Star Hope Chapter 5, White Shrine and Auxiliary of Sons of Union Veterans. Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. Hester Klinker, Mrs. Tommie Wilson, Mrs. Donald (Ruby) Bart, Mrs. Edward (Dolores) Cavanaugh all of Lafayette; Mrs. Wayne (Rosalie) Smith, Greenfield; and one sister, Mrs. Ethel Boardman, Columbus. - kbz - RIP cousin Dessie
