Hillsboro - Miss Wandalin E. Thomas of Hillsboro died today in the home of her sister, Mrs. Albert Dickerson of Newtown. Miss Thomas was a retired English teacher and had taught in many Indiana high schools. A graduate of Hillsboro HS and Indiana University, she did graduate work at Butler University. She was a member of Prairie Chapel Church, Wallace Order of Eastern Star, American Association of University Women, International Travel and Study club, Sigma Delta Chi, Delta Sigma Kappa and Hillsboro Harmony Club. Born Dec 1, 1916 near Hillsboro she was a daughter of James E. and Gladys Epperson Thomas. Surviving with the mother and sister, are another sister, Mrs. Lee (Patsy) Ellis of Waynetown and a niece and two great nieces of Texas. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home with burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
