Clint THOMAS, 81, of Crawfordsville died Wednesday morning in the Rudisill Nursing Home. He had been ill for several months. Mr. Thomas was born Aug 18, 1876 in Montgomery County, son of Frank and Martha Jane Lowe Thomas. He married Blanche Pearl Watson Sept 3, 1900 and she preceded him in death. In 1944 he married Pearl Shay. He was a farmer most of his life and worked at the Crawfordsville Casket Company where he was superintendent. Surviving are his wife, Pearl; 10 children: Kelsey L Rt 4; Mable Cook, Rt 1, Carlton, Danville, Ill; Opal Shrewbury, Louisville, Ky; Merle Rt 4; Inetta Perkins Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Martha Powell, Rt 4; Herschel, Crawfordsville; Kathryn Morgan, Lafayette; Verlin Cedar Rapids and a stepson Francis Shay of Central City Iowa. Also surviving 17 grandchildren and 15 greats. Funeral services will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 pm. Wednesday. - kbz
