Mrs. Blanche Pearl THOMAS, resident of Montgomery and Fountain Counties most of her life, died at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday at her home, 705 S. John Street. She had been ill since September of last year. Mrs. Thomas was born Sept 3, 1881 in Fountain County daughter of George W. and Mary E. Watson. On Sept 12, 1900 she was married to Clint Thoms at Hillsboro. With the exception of 4 years residence in Danville, Ill the deceased spent all of her life in this county and in neighboring Fountain. She was a member of the United Brethren Church of this city. She is survived by her husband and 10 children: Kelsey of near this city; Mrs. Mabel Cook and Carlton of Danville, Ill; Mrs. Opal Shrewbury of Louisville Ky; Merle of Whitesville; Mrs. Inetta Perkins of Cedar Rapids,Iowa; Mrs. Martha Powell and Herschel Thomas of this city and Kathryn and Verlin at home. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 at the First United Brethren Church with Rev. John Roberts in charge. Burial in Waynetown Cemetery. The body will lie in state for one hour preceding the services. - kbz
