Bertha Thomas Succumbs In Nursing Home- NEW RICHMOND- Mrs. Bertha F. Thomas, 90, life long resident of New Richmond, died at 2 a.m. EST Friday at the Rudisil Nursing Home. She had been living at the home for the past two years and had been ill for the past year. Born May 9, 1870, she was the daughter of Mathias and Angelinia Liter. She married Richard D. Thomas Sept. 1, 1886. He preceded her in death in 1950. She was a member of the New Richmond Methodist Church. Survivors include the two grandchildren, Richard and Pearl Thomas of Lafayette. Preceding her in death besides the husband, was a son. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the New Richmond Methodist Church. Interment will be in the New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the McCloud Mortuary after 11 a.m. Saturday.
