Miss Tessie B. Terry, 82, former Montgomery County school teacher died Friday at 6:25 p.m. at Shahan Nursing Home where she had been a patient for some time. Educated at the old Ladoga Normal School, she taught in Montgomery County 15 yeaers. Miss Terry was a native of Christiansburg, VA having been born there Nov 26, 1869, the daughter of Charles H. and Lucy J. Borden Terry. She was never married. The only survivors are there brothers, Leonard w. Terry of Linnsburg, Lewis Earl Terry, Mt. Tabor neighborhood and Howard F. Terry, Freedom. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Hugh Terry and William C. Terry and three sisters, Lilly Terry, Loreana Arnold and Mary Susan Baker. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 pm.. at Bethel Church northwest of Ladoga by the Rev. Robert Heeter. Burial in Bethel Church Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home until noon Sunday.
