Ladoga -- T. V. "Vora" Terry, 84-year-old retired farmer of the Whitesville area died at 9:36 a.m. Sunday in Carmen Nursing Home at Crawfordsville. He was a son of Thomas and Mary Teeters Terry and was born near Ladoga on Sept 29, 1885. He was married August 26, 1914 to Cora Busenbark at the home of Rev. Kern in Crawfordsville. Mr. Terry was a member of the Whitesville Christian Church and charter member of the Montgomery County Farm Bureau. He attended school at Maple Grove and Ladoga. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jason Newton of Bakersfield, Calif; five sons, Clayton of Indianapolis; Lowell of Crawfordsville, Leslie of Waynetown, Thomas of Winimac and Carroll of Whitesville; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Hobson of Crawfordsville. His wife and a grandson preceded Mr. Terry in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gephart Funeral Home with Revs. Tyler Solna and Herbert WIlson officiating and burial in Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in Ladoga after 4 p.m. today. - kbz
