The funeral of Mrs. Samuel TEMPLETON was held from the residence Monday afternoon. Rev. Lowell Morris, of Indianapolis, formerly a pastor of the local Methodist Church was in charge of the services, assisted by Rev AW Smith present pastor of the Methodist Church. Music was furnished by Mrs. James Whitesides, Mrs. Harold Schultz and Mrs. George Lawton. The remains were laid to rest in the Newtown Cemetery. Those who attended from a distance were Mrs. John Harris and daughters, Helen and Pauline of Danville, Illinois, Mrs. Norris Lowe, Will Templeton and wife of Hillsboro, John Weber, Mrs. Anna Weber of Attica, Mrs. Josephine Kobler of Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Templeton died Saturday afternoon after a two months' illness of nervous affliction.
