New Ross -- Joseph W. Teague, 84, a retired employee of the Linde Co of Indianapolis died Sunday morning in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He had been ill the last six months. Mr. Teague was a son of John and Sarah Gorden Teague and was born March 8, 1886 in Knox Co KY. He was married to Bertha Williams on Oct 28, 1926. She died in 1969. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Surviving are two sons, Raymond of New Ross with whom Mr. Teague made his home and Clyde Teague of Barbourville, Ky; six daughters, Mrs. Irene Yeagley of Jamestown; Mrs. Roberta Isenberg of Rockville; Mrs. Willie Bee Chandler of New Market; Mrs. Joe Ann Rice of Annendale, VA; Mrs. Mary Hubbard and Mrs. Hazel Stewart of Barbourville; a brother, Nate Teague of Barbourville; 32 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Two sons are deceased, one of them, Kenneth killed in the Korean War. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Walker Funeral Home in Jamestown with burial in New Ross Cemetery.
