Paul Taylor, 70, died at 8:20 a.m. Sunday (Sept 9) at his home, 405 Highland Ave, after a six-month illness. Mr. Taylor was employed by the WQ O'Neall Co for several years before operating his own trucking business. He was a member of Yountsville Christian Church. Born Nov 267, 1891, in Montgomery County, he was a son of Joseph W. and Sarah Follick Taylor. He was twice married; his first was to Virgil Elmore who died in 1915. Then he married in 1922 Laverne Lauthers. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. James Darnell of Lebanon; a sister, Mrs. Frank Simms, Crawfordsville; two brothers, Albert of Yountsville and Russell of Rockford, Ill; a grandson, Terry D Taylor and two great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles who died in 1959. Funeral services are set for 4 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies in charge. Burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday. - kbz
