Dr. James Taylor recently died at Cincinnati at the age of 74 years. 48 years ago Dr. T. practiced dentistry in this place and will be remembered by our older citizens as a most courteous and amiable gentleman. During a long and useful life he maintained a character without blemish. He died as he had lived for more than 40 years, a consistent member of the Presbyterian Church. Dr. T. was the second dentist who practiced that profession in this place, Dr. Wampler being the first. - transcribed by kbz
