Mrs. Ida Taylor, 76 of Crawfordsville, a former resident of this community died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Brunen, 1206 West Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville, Friday, Jan 10. Funeral services were held at the Profitt & Sons Funeral Home in Crawfordsville at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Paul E. Million, officiating. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Mrs. Taylor was born in Vermilion County, Illinois on August 13th 1870, the daughter of John H. and Isabelle Johns Moore. She was married to Joseph C. Williams in 1892 and he died in 1896. In 1897 she was married to John C Taylor, who preceded her in death in May, 1942. The survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Bruner, at whose home she died and Mrs. Ethel N Nicholas, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; three sons, Homer M. Taylor of Chicago; Ralph M. Taylor of West Los Angeles, California; and Vernet M Taylor of Los Angeles; 14 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a brother, John Moore of Portland, Oregon. A daughter, Mrs. Hallie Opal Philpott died in 1919.
