Hillsboro - Mrs. Nina A. TANNER, 81, of Hillsboro, died Thursday morning in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She had been a patient one day. Mrs. Tanner was a member of United Church of Christ, Women's Fellowship, Pythian Sisters and Senior Citizens of Hillsboro. She attended Rabb School. Born March 15, 1897, near Cates, she was a daughter of John and Mary Hankins Allen. She married Charles Tanner on Dec 19, 1915 at Kingman. He died June 27, 1967. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lewanda J. Rice of Hillsboro; two brothers, Zimmie of Covington and Noah of Perrysville; two grandchildren and a great grandchildren. A daughter, a grandson, five brothers and two siters are deceased. Services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Saturday in Crumley & Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Friday
