Tallman - Hiram

The Oxford Tribune of the 30th ult. gives an account of the sudden death on Monday morning of last week of Hiram T. Tallman, an old and highly respected citizen of Pine Township. It appears that Mr. Tallman, the morning in question, arose and called the hands engaged on the farm, and laid down again with a book. Not appearing at breakfast, his son, with whom he was living, went to his room where he found him dead with the book lying upon his breast. -s
