KINGMAN, Ind. (CNS) — Cecil R. Tallman, 70, of Kingman, died at 11:20 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 17, 1972) at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. He had been a patient four days and had suffered a stroke Sunday. Born May 21, 1901, at Danville he was the son of Chalmer R. and Pink Ramsey Tallman. On Nov. 26, 1925, he married Berneice Martin, who survives. He attended Covington High and was a farmer in Fountain County most of his life, retiring in 1969. He was a former director of Producers Dairy in Danville. He was a member of the Christian Church, Masonic Lodge 314 F&AM, Fountain Chapter 204 of the Order of Eastern Star, all of Kingman, Wallace Low 12 Club, Fountain County Farm Bureau and Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis. He was a former "Dad" of the Kingman Rainbow Assembly. A resident of Kingman Route 1 for 30 years, he had moved into Kingman last November. Survivors also include three daughters, Mrs. Morris (Delores) Minton, Mrs. Sam (Betty) McNeese and Mrs. Charles (Beverly) Long, all of Danville; two sisters, Mrs. Carl (Bernice) Williams of Kingman Route 1 and Mrs. Lucille Horn of Gary; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a brother and a great-grandson. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Sunday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington, with the Rev. Larry McMillan officiating. Burial will be in Lower Mound Cemetery near Covington. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday and after 2 p.m. Saturday. Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. --typed by Walt W
