Friends of Charles Talburt will regret to hear of the death of his wife which took place at the home of Mrs. L.D. Stone, near French Lick. Mrs. Stone sends the following obituary: Agnes, wife of Charles A. Talburt of Springfield, Ill, died at the home of her mother-in-law, Mrs. L. Dow Stone of French Lick, after an illness of five weeks of heart trouble, of which she has been a sufferer many years. She was kind and affectionate and made friends where ever she went. She was educated at St. Marys-in-the-woods, Terre Haute and died in the Catholic faith, Feb 8, 1910. She came to French Lick Christmas to assist in caring for L. Dow Stone who is in a helpless condition, but the Lord saw fit to take her to join the darling babe that preceded her to that better land 10 years ago. She leaves a husband, one brother and two sisters besides many friends to mourn her loss. Her remains were taken to Terre Haute her childhood home for interment.-- kbz
