Talbott - Myral Hawkins

Mrs. Myral Talbott died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Winfield Clore near Byron on Thursday November 15 in her 88th year. The funeral services at Union Church were held on Saturday morning by Elder J.J. Canine. Interment in Union Cemetery. Mrs. Clore's (sic - Talbott) maiden name was Hawkins. She was born in Henry County, Kentucky September 15, 1818. There she married Thomas Clines and to them were born 9 children. Four of them died in childhood followed by the death of the father. Mrs. Clines removed to Indiana with her remaining children. These were William, John, Thomas, Mildred and Sarah. Of these, William and Thomas and Mrs. Sarah Butcher are now dead; John and Mrs. Mildred Clore surviving. After her children were grown, Mrs. Clines married John Talbott who died several yeaers ago, since which she has lived with her children. -- kbz
