Velma G. Tague, 88, of Lane House Nursing Home died at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at the home. She had been a homemaker and was a member of the Queen Esther Lodge, Order of Eastern Star at Indianapolis. She was educated in New Market schools. Mrs. Tague was born March 15, 1902, to Charles and Eva Buser Easley. She was married to Walter C. Tague on Feb. 8, 1923. He died in 1971. Surviving are four nieces, Mariam Surface and Evelyn Carlile, both of Crawfordsville, Norma Montrose of Las Vegas and Joan Summers of Chesterton, Ind. Two brothers and three sisters are deceased. Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Masonic North Cemetery with Susie Goforth officiating. Friends may call at Powers Funeral Home 1:30-2:30 Thursday prior to graveside services. - thanks Sue P :)
