Miss Leota Tague, retired professional nurse, died at 2:15 a.m. Friday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. Miss Tague had been in failing health for the last two years. The deceased resided at 210 Park St. A 1930 graduate of the Christian Hospital School of Nursing in Indianapolis, she had practiced her profession in several hospitals, principally at Culver. She held membership in the Indiana State Nurses Association. Born on Feb. 11, 1898, near Milligan in Parke County, she was the daughter of John H. and Lizzie Lohman Tague. She was reared in the Waveland area and attended that community's schools. Miss Tague was a member of the Byron Wesleyan Methodist Church. Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Wanetah Mitchell of Waveland, Mrs. Mary Shireman of Indianapolis, Mrs. Ada Downing of Brazil, Mrs. Fern Mickels of near Rockville and Mrs. Harriett Stonebraker of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Garnett and Clifford, both of Crawfordsville, and Herman of Marshall, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland with Rev. Walter Porter in charge. Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday
