Milford Clayton Thompson, 55, of 1512 Woodside Drive, a pressman at R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co., was dead on arrival at Culver Hospital after suffering a heart attack at his home at 10:15 a.m. Monday. Mr. Thompson was employed for 26 years as a pressman at the Donnelley firm. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Mr. Thompson was born in Montgomery County Nov. 26, 1917, a son of Samuel Guy and Gladys Gossett Thompson. He was married Jan. 9, 1956 to Maggie Massengale. Surviving with the widow are a son, Milford Lee Thompson of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Suzy Handley of Crawfordsville; two step-daughters, Joyce Watkins and Sue Shelton of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Wayne and Samuel Guy of Crawfordsville; a sister, Ruby Jean Easton of Blooming Prairie, Minn.; five grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Whitlock officiating. Burial will be in Jamestown Odd Fellows Cemetery.
